Start with the power source from your vehicle, more often then not it is a power issue from your vehicle. Once this has been checked, ensure the plug is firmly connected. If these are all confirmed to be working, use the supplied Over-ride Anderson. To raise the tent, hold the red tail to the top and Black tail to the bottom plates. To lower, switch the red and black.

You must ensure that all windows, including fly mesh, is completely unzipped and layed flat on the bed. If the windows are even partially zipped up, this can cause your window bars to begin folding out and not in. 

Check your top limit switch located next to the winch is adjusted correctly and the micro-switch is fully depressed. If the winch strap is not pushing firmly on the tab, the limit switch will not allow the tent to lower. It is always a good idea to ensure any bedding is moved to the opposite end to minimise the chances of misaligning the limit.
